Saint Thomas Vacation!

Saint Thomas is one of the places that you travel to for your vacation.  It’s located in Virgin Islands, surrounded by beautiful blue water.  Saint Thomas is surrounded in pretty much all water, there’s like no land nearby except little islands. There are many things that you can do in Saint Thomas that is a lot of fun that you wouldn’t have a chance to do back at home.

One of the things that you can do is a sail boat excursion and they take you different places. While you’re this excursion you go snorkeling, which is pretty neat thing because each place is different and has different coral reefs and different animals. I just think this a great experience and would be really fun. Then it takes you to a couple of different beaches and you were able to get off the boat and could do some different activities on that beach and see spend time in the water which is nice so you can some different environment and explore different beaches so you’re not at the same beach for your whole vacation. I just think it would be a really fun time doing this and seeing the new things.

You can also go on a ferry ride to a different island to spend a day at, and then come back at that night. Doesn’t that sounds like another fun thing to do?? Another way to get on the water and see everything and see hoe pretty the water and all the islands is. I think it would be such a blast a great way to spend part of your vacation.

There’s also zip lining through the flower gardens…… this would be another adventure if you haven’t tried anything like this before or is afraid of heights. But they have different levels that you can choose to do; this means the higher you are and the harder the level is.. This would be another fun thing that you can do and some that you might really enjoy and might even help you get over your fear if this was one of your fears.

                Going to Saint Thomas is another great place to choose to go when traveling out of the country. But trust me there are so many other places that you can choose from and they are all wonderful places to go to and all have wonder activities to do. You can also choose to do a cruise for your vacation too if you don’t want to stay a resort the whole time and on cruise they do stop at the islands to and you can activities too. So I hope you are satisfied with whatever you choose to do.

Bahamas......

The Bahamas is another great place to travel to when you plan to travel outside of the country. Bahamas is located in the Caribbean. They have some pretty blue water trust me, and is mostly covered in water but some islands that is island. They have some pretty fun things that you get to do and probably some of things that you’ve never gotten to do before and get to be new experience for you.  It also has some pretty awesome resorts that you can stay at and have your own pools and fun activity’s right on your property that you probably wouldn’t want to leave much because your enjoying your time right there at your resort.

                One of the things that you can do is go snorkeling… I think snorkeling would be a fun, unique experience. Going under water with the breathing tube and looking at all the cool animals and coral reefs and just seeing what’s under the water I think would be an awesome experience and a really great time especially if you’re going with great people you can have a fun time with each other will make it even better.

                If you like heights and are brave enough I would try to go parasailing. I think it would be a great opportunity to be able to do out in the middle of a beautiful ocean, strolling behind a boat and flying in the air. And if you catch a perfect a day and it windy and you just floating in the air… I think that just sounds great and taking on a great adventure especially if you’ve never done it before and you’re scared of heights or something.

                There are many other things that you can do while you go to the Bahamas… it’s such a great place to go to and I think you will have a great time if you choose to come here because it’s so pretty… and there are also other islands that you can choose to travel to that’s close to the Bahamas.

Traveling Out of the Country!

There are so many different places that you can travel in this world…… there’s ’touristy places such as New York, beaches like Florida and California there’s also mountainous areas such as Tennessee and Colorado. Our world is split up into so many different parts so you can choose where’re you would like to go best on your interest. But if you are wanting to try something new and go somewhere that you’ve never been to, there are so many wonderful places outside of the country. You could go somewhere in the Dominican Replican, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, or the Caribbean Islands. There are many other places that you can choose besides these; these are just a few of them.

                So my two cousins and I are going to take an adventure next summer and go somewhere out of the country. My oldest cousin wanted to take me and her sister somewhere fun for our graduation and before we start college.  I am so excited because I’ve gotten this experience before and that I get to finally do it before I go to college. It’s going to be a great an amazing summer with graduating, having graduation party and then going on vacation. Wow never thought this time would come! But the hard part is coming is planning it…. We don’t know where to go looking up all the places to go they all look beautiful and an amazing place to go to! And then figuring out if we wanted to go on a cruise or just want to stay on the resort was the next question because going out of the country you has the ability the go on cruise (well nicer cruises). There are a lot of things that have to be decided and it’s a really hard decision especially if it’s your first time because you have all these places to pick from. 

                Going out of the country you can get some really good deals, such as they have an all exclusive deals. That include you place to stay, you meals, your activities to do while you’re there, your airfare and sometimes other things for really cheap.  Usually it’s cheaper if you’re just paying for your airfare tickets alone…. So I think it’s a really good deal and its worth going out of the country and getting the all exclusive package then having to pay everything separate if you are staying in the U.S because they don’t usually include all exclusive package in the U.S.

                When you are planning your trip, you have many choices to choose from to go to for your vacation whether it’s staying in the U.S or going out the country and both choices are excellent choices and have a lot of fun things to do. So I hope whatever you choose you are happy with it and would want to go back to that place again.

Hollywood of California!

Los Angeles would be another great place to go if you’re in California especially if it’s just a couple thing and you don’t have any kids coming along. This part of California is like Hollywood and have many of things you can do as couples. But some of things not so appropriate for kids.  But if you do bring your kids it’s okay, they have things that you can do that you can do with them and still have a great time.

                One of the things that Los Angeles that bring people for are the casinos. People love to gamble and try to make some nice bucks, who doesn’t like that feeling wining some money. But the worst is if you lose money because if you don’t know how gamble works you have to give money first to start the process and if you have the luck you will keep gaining money back.. Which I hope that on everyone that goes there to win money and not lose it, also there’s bars and other fun things that you can do with your date and have a great time with them.                

                There’s also a Universal Studios of Hollywood that you can go visit which I think would be pretty neat to check out, its s film studio in a theme park, so I’m guessing it changes all the time and I think it would be really neat to see the changes.  You can also go walk in the Hollywood walk of fame….. An there’s many of other things to in Los Angles that will make your trip a blast. AS you see there’s a lot of fun things to do in California and places to choose to go and there’s many more to pick then these three, wherever you choose to go I hope that 3you have an awesome trip and don’t regret it.

Things to do in San Francisco, California

San Francisco is another place that you visit in California. This is a really place too and have many things that you can.  I think that this place is more touristy and have more of the touristy attractions that they want people to come see. But it still have great places to go see and do while you’re there and make your vacation great just like all the other cities that you would visit. 

                The Golden Gate Bridge is located here and it’s a pretty special thing to go see but you can’t drive across it. You can either walk or ride your bike across this 12 mile bridge. It just amazes me that there is a bridge that is that long, well and still standing up today because it’s pretty old. There are a lot of history behind this bridge and it would be pretty awesome to go see it in person.  So I would recommend to even stop to see it if you are in San Francisco.

                The Alcatraz Island is an amazing place to visit and has such beautiful water, you wouldn’t believe how clear blue water is has. It has a light house right in the middle with water all around. It’s a great place to go see trust me. IT has rocks and everything built around the light house between the water and landscaped so nice.  And then you can schedule time for tours, which I think would be pretty neat to see what’s inside. I think I would make a trip there just to explore the water and sit by water because it’s so beautiful.

                Want to see some aquatic animals?? Well going to the Aquarium of the Bay would be a great place to go see some because it’s filled of those kind of animals. They include different kind of sharks, skates, bat rays, eels, many of different fishes and tons of other animals you can see there. This Aquarium is divided in parts and you can do different things such as one of the parts they let you touch some of the animals. Which would be kind of cool because many of animals you don’t know information about and don’t know what they feel. I think this is an awesome place to go visit.

                I think that you would really enjoy San Francisco as well as they have many other things to do. I just don’t think it’s as homey like have beaches and things like that like San Diego. But it’s a really nice place to visit for your vacation.

San Diego California!

California is a really great state to travel to, it’s such a nice place and have so many different places that you can visit. San Diego, California is a great part to travel to it has some great attractions that you can go to while you’re on vacations and can see some pretty neat things while you’re there, so you’ll have to check out this city if you decide to travel to California on your next vacation.

                One of the things that you’ll see in San Diego is Sea World. This place is an amazing place to go see. They show many awesome shows that the animals do and trust me it will amaze you what some of these animals can do. They have exhibits that you can go through and you can learn many things and show a lot of interesting information, it has aquariums that you can through that has some neat things that will be shown. If you have kids, this would be a great place to take them; they would definitely love seeing the animals and would be really amazed about them.

                San Diego has many beautiful beaches that you can go visit and have a nice day on them. They have the Torrey Pines State Beach. This beach is covered with clear sea blue water that’s rippling fast, like your surfing in the water when you go in it. It’s also covered in some nice warm sand to make some nice sand castles and lay out on your bathing suits and just enjoy the sun. Doesn’t this sound like an amazing day; it does me to, I wish I lived in this kind of place. Then after you get all rested up after tanning you can go on a hike that they have and go walking on the trails and keep your eyes open because when you’re walking you might spot a dolphin. This is an awesome place to go surfing and just have a great time.  There’s also Windansea beach, La Jolla Shores and many other beaches and water area that you can check out.

                Aquatica San Diego is another great place that you can visit while you’re on your trip. This is a huge amusement park and who’s kids doesn’t like to ride rides and have a great time?! I know not all the parents doesn’t enjoy these kind of places but sometimes you have to do what your kids like to do.  There are things or every age to do so nobody will get bored there. They have baby ride there’s and have an area just for little kids and have a little baby pool just for that. Then they have things for everything up on age. Even things for adults to do such as a huge ride that makes you go zipping through the air; now doesn’t that sound fun?? But they have a ride area and water park area which I think would sound like a really fun day that you can go to one place in one and only have to pay for the cost of one.  Then when you are tired you can go lay in wave pool, which they are known for one of the biggest wave pools around. Trust me there are so much to do there it’s so worth your time even if you aren’t the type of person to ride rides. Some of my family aren’t big ride people but we still go to an amusement park because it’s a tradition and they know that we like to do and they enjoy watching us having a blast.

                San Diego has so many other fun things to do, it’s hard to believe between going to different museums, golfing, there’s a zoo, Baseball Park, and many more. There’s just so much to do you won’t be able to get everything in, that you’ll probably have to come back another time and it’s nice that San Diego has a wide variety of different things that you can choose from.   I know that you should check out the USS midway, the space museum, and the San Diego Coronado Bridge epically at night when it’s all light up, it’s so pretty.  I hope if you choose to go to this part that you have a great time an don’t regret coming here because it’s a nice place.

Fun in Waukegan, Illinois

Waukegan, Illinois is a beautiful city to visit, it’s a city of a lake. There are tons of beautiful places that you visit and a lot of water that you go to and explore. It’s pretty water that you will be viewing with clear of crystal blue water while it’s rippling. There’s many attractions that you’ll have to check out also.  

                The Gold Pyramid is a really neat place that you can visit while you’re there. There are many of pyramids built and other sculptures that’s around the area. You’ll have to check it out because I would love to go and see what else they have and I think it would be neat if they would have a history thing to go with so people no back ground information about the stuff.

                The “People’s Choice Family fun Center” IS an awesome place to take your kids. They will have a blast. There are different kind of games that you can play and get tokens to get prizes.  And there’s a lot of different kind of pizzas and snacks that you choose to have while you are there and having a blast. This will wear your kids out because there’s so much to do and will keep them busy.

                There are many other things to do in Waukegan, Illinois that you’ll have to check out and make sure you go sightseeing because if you didn’t you’ll miss out a lot and have to go check out the beaches and lakes. Illinois is such a great state to visit, there’s so many cities to visit besides the three I’ve mentioned.

Springfield, Illinois

Another popular place that’s visited in Illinois is Springfield, Illinois. You’ll definitely be interested in traveling here if you into history and the presidents because they have a lot of places to visit dealing with the presidents. But that’s not the only things they have to do; they have many of other fun attractions that you can do and make your vacations memorable if you’re not into history and the presidents.

                Abraham Lincoln was very big in Springfield and was very important.  They had an Abraham Lincoln PresidentialLibrary and Museum. This museum give a story and information about the civil war and the presidential election.  It shows the journey as Lincoln, experience as solider and more that you can see and learn.  You’ll have to come and check it out if you want to learn more it, it’s kind of a neat museum and I’m not the history kind of girl at all and don’t like that field very much.  They also have a special spot that you visit home that he lived in before he became president and its even preserves, so I think that would be kind of neat to go visit and see what kind of home he lived in and how he lived.  Then after you go visit his home you could visit his tomb.  Trust me his tomb is very special and very different from everyone else’s, it’s worth going to see it I know it’s sad and people don’t usually go to cemetery especially people that they don’t really know; but it’s worth seeing it.  Then you can also visit the Lincoln Depot, and the Abraham Lincoln memorial garden. You’ll have a whole day or at least that you can be learning about Lincoln and supporting his remembrance of him going to different places which I think would be very nice and neat idea that they have these places.  

                There’s also a skyscraper that you can visit, this thing is awesome especially at nights and it’s all lit up and it’s very pretty.  It’s called Hilton Springfield and it’s the tallest thing in Springfield. This is owned by the hotels so I would make sure that you stay at these hotels because I bet you’ll have an awesome view.

                The Washington Park is a beautiful place to go to especially when you go when the trees are changing because they have tons of trees all around the park but it’s such a pretty place to go all year round. It has a Botanical garden inside that you can visit and just have a relaxing day with having a picnic, taking a walk on the nice path, and they also have a golf course that you play golf and may more things that you can do to enjoy your day. It’s such a nice/beautiful place to not to visit.

                Springfield, Illinois is another good place to travel to, especially if you are into history and into the presidential such as Abraham Lincoln. But as you can see they have a lot more things to do other than history things; they have many beautiful places to visit and view on your trip. So I hope that you enjoy your trip and don’t regret it, because no one should complain because you are able to get away and should have a good time. 

Attractions in Chicago, Illinois

Illinois is a really neat place to travel to and there are multiple different towns/ cities that you can choose from and they all have their own uniqueness and fun things to do. One of the more popular towns that are visited in Illinois is probably Chicago. It’s a huge city have tons of different things that you made your vacation fun and wild.

                Such as going to the Navy Pier for the day and seeing what that s if you never heard or seen to it; it’s a pretty awesome place to go to.  The Navy Pier is a huge place that that different things inside that you can; such as several different kind of restaurants, museums, also has special things during the different seasons like boat cruises, winter wonderland and many more, and just different entertainment that will keep your day flying by and you will have a blast.   You’ll have to make sure that you make your way to the Pier Park, this is like an assessments park that provides a huge Ferris wheel that you can see pretty views of Lake Michigan and other pretty amazing views of Chicago that you wouldn’t be able to see. Then you can check out the other amazing rides they have and the miniature golf and remote control boats that they also provide which doesn’t include everything else. Finally you can end your night at one of their good restaurants and watch fireworks over Lake Michigan.  This place is an amazing place to visit and you won’t regret your time at all. You’ll probably want to come back and they also have great places to go to if you have children. So I would greatly recommended coming to this place.

                Do you like seeing interesting animals?? You’ll have to go check out the ShedAquarium. This place is amazing to make time to check out. They have some pretty interesting and cool animals that you walk around and look at. They also give tours that you can go on and learn about it if you want to learn more about the animals and the place. I would definitely make time on your trip to check this place out especially if you have kids they would be amazed by these animals and some of the things that they do (because some of them do tricks at times).

                Willis Tower also known as the “Sears Tower” is another common place that is visited too while people are visiting Chicago. If you are afraid of heights and don’t like to look to at high things I wouldn’t recommend going to this place because this is over a 100 story building that you can go into. But trust me if you are afraid of heights if might conquered your fear because when I was and I went on a roller coaster and now I’m over that fear and will go on anything.  If you can get someone to get you to go up there I bet you’ll love it!!

                Chicago, Illinois has so many other attractions that you can do while you’re on your trip such as more aquariums, museums, and a lot of different history places; if you’re into history, and you’ll have to make sure you stop by at the Wrigley Field even if they don’t have a game going on. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough and go there on a weekend and they have a home game and go watch them. They also have many more things that you can do that you’ll have to probably come back because you didn’t get everything in that you would like to visit because if they is a pretty fun and neat place to visit.

Spring Break: Minnesota Lakes

So you all know that there’s so many places that you can go for Spring break, so that can’t be you excuse that there isn’t anywhere to go. There’s all of these nice places that you can choose. We are so lucky that the world has expand and built up to be very nice in majority of the part. The Minnesota Lakes is another really nice place to choose that you could for the week, especially if you like to camp and fish.

                They have tons of cabins that you stay in right on the lakes, which they hold a lot of people and are kept up very well. It has all the necessities right there such as having a bon fire, has grill so you can have a grill out; but I recommend brig your grill if you can especially if you are grilling for a lot of people. It’s so relaxing because there’s a huge space where we go up to that you can bring your lawn chairs and just out there and tan and just have a nice day. Listening to the birds chirp and water rippling, doesn’t that sound like an enjoyable day and you don’t have your phone or nothing, nobody to bother you because there’s no service out there.

                Then you can go out to the lake on your boat; which is right out the back door of your cabin and go fishing. Trust me this lake is huge and if you have good luck that day you can catch a lot of fish and then go cook it on your grill for supper that night. And just have a nice ride on your boat for the day and hope that it’s a nice day because some days in Minnesota is can a little chilly and not the hottest out like you would it to.  There are other things that you can do in the town of Minnesota, but you’ll just have go and check it out because I’ve never really been in the town part.

                So I hope that you’ve chosen somewhere good to go on your Spring break and had a blast. Everyone goes somewhere different and that’s ok. It’s ok if you go to Mexico, Spain, Florida, Minnesota, Colorado, Jamaica or even stay home. The most important part is that you had fun and enjoyed it because you should that your off school and don’t have to worry about homework or anything.

Spring Break: New Orleans

New Orleans is another common places that is traveled to during Spring Break. I know I had some cousins and a few other people that went there over their Spring Break and had a blast.  There’s also a lot of things that you can do there, well anytime that you travel should be fun because they usually have things that you get to do that you can’t do in your home town.             

Do you like staying by the water that you can hear the rippling water when you are sleeping? Also would like to have to opportunity to see awesome sunsets and sit out on sandy beach? New Orleans is a great place for this also. It’s beautiful to have the chance to wake up that or at night when the sun is setting to have supper out on your deck; or sitting out on the sand and watching it set is the best time.  Trust me you’ll miss is when you have to come home and you don’t have that opportunity, I know I always miss it; the life on the beach…….

New Orleans many attractions and activities that you should make sure to do while you there on your trip. Such as going to the amusement park.  It reminds me a lot like Six Flags. And who doesn’t like to ride rides and have a great time and enjoy their day? Me!! I bet you’ll have a blast of time and want to try other amusement parks if you have never been to one before. They are pretty fun especially if you love to ride rides and if you’re going with a group of people.

New Orleans is also known for Jazz and have a lot of Jazz things that you can go and look at such as the JazzNational Historical Park, the Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, have many jazz concerts and just a lot of other things that deals with jazz that you can do. So if you like jazz music and anything to deal with Jazz I would recommend to go check to see what they all have. 

                New Orleans also have many other things that you can that I definitely recommend to go check and just go sightseeing because they have some pretty awesome things that you can see that you wouldn’t be able to see anywhere else. So I hope if choose to go there on your Spring Break that you don’t regret it and just have a great time.

Spring Break: Florida

Traveling is pretty much everyone’s big priority for Spring Break.  People go everyone and leave early from school and come back to expand their vacations. This is the time of year that when a lot of people travel; I think even more than summer which is very surprising. Especially when this is the most expensive time of the year because everyone knows that people will go no matter what.  Spring break just got over for us for the year and there were tons of people of people traveling; but unfortunately this year we didn’t

                One of the most popular places is Florida that is traveled to during Spring break.  They have perfect weather and a lot of fun things to do. I love going to Florida and being able to lay out on the beach and just able to enjoy it! Especially when you can get a place to stay right on the beach and when you look out of your house there’s the beach. Trust me it’s awesome and just tops your vacation.

                You can go Disney World while you’re in Florida, this place can get a little overwhelmed and crazy because it’s so busy. But if you like to ride rides you’ll definitely like this place and is worth your time. It’s also worth your time if your have little kids so they can see Mickey and thee characters dressed up and do plays and stuff, that’s always neat and you kids would love it. Disney World haws some awesome rides like I mentioned, such as some huge roller coasters that you’re going to have to be holding your breath when you’re coming off of it, because you’re scared or like just OMG I just did that….

                Sea World is another amazing place to visit while you’re in Florida. This is one my favorites place to go and always have to go back every time we make our visit to Florida.  Trust me you’ll see some amazing tricks that I can’t believe that these animals can do. There are so many other things that you can do there and it’s just an awesome place.

                Florida is just a great place that you travel to in many reason. For the beaches, nice weather, entertainment. Also it’s really nice that there are tons of different places in Florida that you can choose to go and it’s all sprawled so you have your space and hoping that a lot of people will be traveling there this week that it still won’t be crazy busy with all of the other beaches you can go to.  Make sure that you stop in at your resort shops to see what they have because they always carry neat things and nice apparel because who doesn’t like to have a remembrance from their vacation especially clothes? I love to clothes especially from places like that! 

Lake Panora!

Iowa has a lot of great parks and lakes, and you wouldn’t think a small state would have that many places that you could visit. But they actually have a lot of fun places to visit for the week/weekend for you and your family. Lake Panora is another great place that you can visit.

                This is a place that is mainly for fishing, a lot of people go fishing, and they have several areas that people can fish. People love going up there for fishing for their space and always have luck for getting a lot of fishes. So if you would a big fan of fishing I would recommend trying a weekend up there.

It also have a huge golf course right on the lake, this is a pretty amazing golf course. Its right in the center like you has water surrounding all around you while you’re playing golf.  And the amazing thing is that when you hit the ball in the water and the water splashes and it makes a loud noise and splashes back at you.  

An amazing thing that you have an opportunity to do is to rent a home or cabin right on the lake while you stay there. This is awesome and so fun because you have a dock that you can walk right onto and you see the water. It’s such a beautiful scene and lake to go see.

                Lake Panora has a lot of other things that you can do that you’ll have to check out while you’re there and hope that you enjoy it.  As you can see in my last three blogs Iowa have some pretty amazing Parks/ Lakes that you’ll have to travel to and check out. Iowa has a lot more besides these three that should be looked into too that you and your family could take a vacation to.
